We examine and prepare your tooth
Your appointment begins with a thorough examination of the affected tooth. If decay is present, we’ll remove the damaged tissue and clean the area to prevent further issues. If the tooth has stress fractures, a crown helps reinforce it and prevent the fracture from spreading. Once the tooth is ready, we’ll gently reshape it so your new crown will fit comfortably and securely over top.
Your crown is scanned and milled on-site
With the tooth prepared, we use a digital 3D scanner to capture a precise image of your tooth, no putty impressions or trays required. This digital scan allows us to design a crown that fits your bite accurately. Your custom porcelain crown is then milled on-site using our in-house equipment while you wait, so there’s no need to send anything to an outside lab.
Your new crown is bonded and polished
Once your crown is ready, it’s bonded or cemented directly onto your tooth, completing your treatment in a single visit with no temporary crown or follow-up appointment needed.
